After more than a decade, the Barbershop film series is finally back on the big screen with its
fourth instalment called Barbershop: The
Next Cut. In the film, Calvin has finally found his home away from home and
friends he considers as family. However, times have changed and he and his
troop must work together to save the shop and the neighborhood from gang
members that roam the streets.
Ice Cube reprises his role as Calvin Palmer, Jr. from the original
film, as well as Cedric the Entertainer as Eddie and Anthony Anderson as JD. Joining
them are Regina Hall, Sean Patrick Thomas, Lamone Morris, Margot Bingham and
Nicki Minaj. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, Barbershop:
The Next Cut will be released on April 15, 2016.
