First Peek: Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016)

Po and his kick-ass team return to the big screen with Kung Fu Panda 3. Produced by DreamWorks Animation and to be distributed by 20th Century Fox, the third instalment of the franchise will involve some sort of romance for our beloved panda hero.

When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. There he meets Mei Mei, an overly eager panda, who has been promised in an arranged marriage to Po. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.

Jack Black remains the voice of Po, as well as Angeline Jolie as Tigress, Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Lucy Liu as Viper and David Cross as Viper. Joining the original cast are Rebel Wilson as Mei Mei and Bryan Cranston as Po’s biological father Li. Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni, Kung Fu Panda 3 will be released on January 29, 2016.
