The Great Wall is
an upcoming American-Chinese science fantasy-adventure action film. Set in the
Northern Song Dynasty, the movie is about the mysteries revolving around the famed
Great Wall of China where an elite force is called to make a valiant stand for
humanity.
The film features both American and Chinese ensemble which
includes Matt Damon, Andy Lau, Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, and Lu
Han. Directed by Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers, The Flowers of
War), The Great Wall is scheduled to
be released on December 2016.
