    First Peek: Gods of Egypt (2016)



    Gods of Egypt is an upcoming fantasy film about the time when gods walked among human, before the war that divide them for eternity. In this story, the Egyptian god of darkness Set takes over the throne of the Egyptian empire. A mortal hero, Bek, allies with the Egyptian god Horus in a mission to save the world and to rescue his love.


    Brenton Thwaites plays the role of Bek in the film, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Horus, Gerard Butler as Set, Chadwick Boseman as Thoth, Elodie Yung as Hathon, Courtney Eaton as Zaya, Rufus Sewell as Urshu, Geoffrey Rush as Ra, and Bryan Brown as Osiris. Directed by Alex Proyas, Gods of Egypt will be released on February 26, 2016.
