    First Peek: Poltergeist (2015)

From the creators of “Evil Dead” and “The Grudge” comes the modern retelling of a well-loved horror classic. Producer Sam Raimi and writer David Lindsay-Abaire takes us back again to the home of Bowen family and the evil forces lurking within in the remake of The Poltergeist.

In a suburban neighborhood, the simple home of Bowen family is suddenly invaded by angry spirits. With each passing time, the apparitions grow more terrifying, and when the unworldly forces take away the youngest daughter, the family and some paranormal experts must come together to save her.

The film stars Sam Rockwell as Eric Bowen and Jared Harris as Carrigan Burke. Also part of the cast are Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Kyle Catlett, Kennedi Clements and Nicholas Braun. Directed by Gil Kenan, The Poltergeist is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2015.
